Chargers crush the Steelers 25–10 and hit the bye week in full force.
At SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, with an attendance of 72,174 fans, the Los Angeles Chargers returned to winning form with a dominant 25–10 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. It was a night of perfect redemption, where offense, defense, and special teams aligned to restore confidence within the fanbase.

First Half.
The game started rough. The Steelers took an early lead with a 59-yard field goal, but the Chargers answered with a safety thanks to strong defensive pressure. Later, a 32-yard field goal and a 15-yard touchdown pass from Justin Herbert to Ladd McConkey just before halftime sent Los Angeles into the break with a 12–3 advantage.
Second Half & Finish.
In the third quarter, kicker Cameron Dicker drilled an incredible 59-yard field goal to extend the lead. Early in the fourth, a 2-yard touchdown run by Kimani Vidal pushed the score to 22–3. Pittsburgh responded with a rushing TD, but Dicker added another field goal from 42 yards. The Steelers scored a late touchdown, but the clock expired with the Chargers ahead 25–10.
Keys to the Victory.
• Justin Herbert (20/33, 220 yards, 1 TD) delivered a clean, mistake-free performance.
• Kimani Vidal dominated on the ground: 25 carries, 95 yards, and 1 TD, powering the run game.
• The Chargers’ defense refused to allow offensive touchdowns: constant pressure, 2 forced interceptions, and a first-quarter safety.
• Cameron Dicker went 3/4 on field goals, including a crucial 59-yarder that widened the gap.
With this win, the Chargers move to 7–3 on the season, solidifying themselves as a real threat in the AFC West.
