Club Tijuana hosted Pumas in a Matchday 12 clash of the Clausura 2026, played at Estadio Caliente.

The home side showed character from the start and struck early with a “locker-room goal.” In the 3rd minute, Michel Fong delivered a precise cross that found Fabiola Ibarra inside the box, who finished with her left foot to open the scoring and ignite the home crowd.

Pumas responded quickly. In the 18th minute, Angelina Hix equalized with a header following a direct free kick, leveling the match as both teams went into halftime tied 1-1.

The decisive moment came in the 76th minute, when Danielle Fuentes capitalized on a defensive error by Pumas, stole the ball inside the box, and finished across goal to make it 2-1.

The closing minutes were intense, and in the 90th minute, Celia Gaynor was sent off after receiving her second yellow card, leaving the visitors with ten players.
