Club Tijuana hosted Tigres UANL in a Matchday 13 clash of the Clausura 2026, played at Estadio Caliente.

The home side stepped onto the field determined to deliver a strong performance at the Mictlán, pushing for the win from the opening minutes. The breakthrough came in a familiar fashion, as Kevin Castañeda recreated a moment reminiscent of his previous goal against Tigres. In the 22nd minute, he struck a powerful long-range shot that beat the visiting goalkeeper and opened the scoring.

The match was played with intensity, but no further goals were added before halftime, as Tijuana took a narrow lead into the break.
