We are witnessing moments of football history in this magical tournament called the Champions Leagues Cup, where different countries have the opportunity to showcase their very best. Honduras represented by Real CD España and the United States represented by Los Angeles FC, two very different nations, two very different squads, and undoubtedly a massive gap in budget and resources.

The MLS season has not yet begun, but for example San Diego already showed in this competition that American clubs have the level required to eliminate teams that are fully in rhythm, such as Pumas.

This is a huge opportunity for Heung Min Son to become an even bigger figure at LAFC. He is a historic player for Tottenham and for world football. Yesterday, the team scored six goals to demonstrate their dominance; among the scorers were Bouanga with a hat trick and Son. An impressive performance that, even though it was only the first leg, leaves the series practically decided.

We now look forward to LAFC’s home debut against Miami in MLS and will be closely watching the second leg.
