The Green Bay Packers improved to 2-0 with a convincing 27–18 home win over the Washington Commanders at Lambeau Field. From the outset, the Packers controlled the trenches and made big plays, especially from tight end Tucker Kraft, who tallied 116 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Packers quarterback Jordan Love threw for 188 yards and 2 touchdowns, maintaining efficiency while avoiding turnovers. The rushing game was highlighted by Josh Jacobs, who added another touchdown on the ground and helped keep the pressure off Love.

For Washington, Jayden Daniels passed for 233 yards and 1 touchdown, showing moments of promise, especially in the fourth quarter when the offense began to find some rhythm. Deebo Samuel contributed with 77 receiving yards, though the Commanders struggled earlier under pressure and couldn’t close the gap enough.

Defensively, Green Bay made critical stops throughout forcing multiple sacks and disrupting key drives. Special teams also played a role in securing the lead late. The Packers’ balance on both sides of the ball gave them the edge in this Thursday night matchup.
