The Estadio Caliente lived a special night. Xolos Femenil defeated Necaxa 1-0 and celebrated once again in front of their fans, which on this occasion numbered 833. The match carried a strange vibe even before kickoff, as chants of "Fuera Romo" echoed through the stands. For the first time this tournament, the team seemed to have most of its best players available, but things would not be easy.
In the first half, Xolos created several clear chances. Number 10, Kader Hançar, came close with a shot that rattled the crossbar. Minutes later, Danielle squandered a golden opportunity one-on-one with the goalkeeper. Despite the pressure, the scoreboard remained goalless at halftime.
In the second half, Tijuana kept pushing and found their reward in the 54th minute. After receiving a ball on the left side, Kader Hançar struck powerfully to score the only goal of the match. The goal was a huge weight off their shoulders. Necaxa never truly threatened in attack and the home side managed the game with composure, securing three precious points that broke their winless streak at the Caliente.
The undisputed figure of the night was Kader Hançar, who not only scored but was also the most dangerous player in attack. Xolos Femenil showed character, created more one-on-one chances, and although they wasted some opportunities, they finished when it mattered most. The final whistle confirmed a long-awaited victory. Xolos roared again at the Estadio Caliente and gave signs that they can rise in the Apertura 2025.
